Breeding for our future

Each litter we produce is carefully planned with the intention to grow our program. All of our dogs and potential studs are health tested (OFA hip, elbow, DNA, eye, and heart), and chosen specifically to better one another for the next generation to come. We reserve the right to keep any puppy(s) of any litter upon evaluations.

Interviews and screening

We interview and screen all of our families that would like a future puppy. This is our time to get to know you, learn about what you are looking for, in a puppy and for you to ask questions! After your interview instructions will be provided on placing a deposit, and being added to our waiting list.

Puppy Pick Process

Pick up specifics

The breeder has choice of puppy(s) in every litter, male or female.

During our 8 weeks with the puppies we get to know them best. We also take the time in our interview process to learn about what your are looking for. As we see our puppies play, grow, explore, react, etc. we think "will this puppy be a good fit for this family?" We temperament test, we evaluate, and from everything we have gathered over those weeks we then place the best puppy for you and for the puppy!

FaceTime visits are welcome and we share pictures videos and updates as the process unfolds.

  • When can I get my puppy? Puppies will not leave our care before 8 weeks of age. Typically we will send home puppies at 9 weeks of age.

  • What comes with my puppy? Folder of information including; parents health clearances, microchip registration, health guarantee, AKC limited registration, litter pedigree, scent of litter mates.

  • Can I come visit my puppy before pick up day? For the safety of our puppies we do not allow visitors. This is due to not having full vaccinations and the risk it can pose on the entire litter. We will have video visits with you so you can see the puppy, ask questions, and we share many updates as the puppy grows!

  • Can I bring my older dog with me on pick up day? No. For the safety of all it is best they meet when your puppy comes home.

  • Will you ship a puppy? No. We want to meet you! We will meet you at the airport if you plan to fly to us. The closest airport is Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. We can also meet you at Akron-Canton airport.
